Parlin Fork has adopted Doja.
They wanted an active puppy that needed training - Doja was perfect for them. Her crime was digging. Heelers are active working dogs and they do best when they have a job. Now she has a big job of watching over her 110 new friends.
Two inmates, Aaron and Jason and Officer Richard Ramos selected Doja. Parlin Fork is conservation camp operated by the California Department of Forestry in association with the Department of Corrections.
We checked on Doja and she is very happy going for walks and chasing balls. The Humane Society donated a years supply of heartworm medicine, to ensure she stays healthy.
